Transport - The A52 Multi-Modal Study
The study area is the section of the A52 corridor between its junction with the A453 at Clifton Bridge, west of Nottingham, and its junction with the A46 at Bingham, east of Nottingham.
Invitations to tender for the consultancy contract were issued in May 2002 and consultants, Atkins Transport Planning, were appointed in September 2002 to take forward work on the study. The study finished in March 2004 and the Final Report was sent to the East Midlands Regional Planning Board who consulted stakeholders in the region. Following the consultation period they submitted advice to Ministers for consideration.
